by: admin Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

The House Clerk has reported that State Representative Clark Chapin has once again achieved a voting participation rate of 100 percent, having cast votes in all 457 roll call votes taken during the 2009 session in the state House of Representatives.

Representative Chapin has reached the 100 percent rating during eight of his nine years in the Connecticut General Assembly, according to reports compiled by the House Clerk’s office.

Rep. Chapin said, “One of the most important obligations of a state legislator is to speak and vote on legislation that comes to the floor and is about to become state law. I also believe it is important to make every effort to vote on each piece of legislation in order to best serve the residents of New Milford who have placed their trust in me to represent their interests in Hartford.”
